1716 – Peterwardein, Hungary

Peterwardein, Hungary, is a fortress that was captured by the Turks in 1526. It was kept by them for 160 years.

In 1716, they were defeated by Prince Eugene.

This victory, among other military victories, is attributed to the rosary.
